🍄 The New Health Club #14 - Zach Haigney: Should psychedelics be political, a business or just very personal?
I talk to Zack Haigney the founder of the Trip Report, a cool, new newsletter on the Business, Policy and Impact of Psychedelics The Trip Report monitors the Business, Policy, Regulation, Science and Cultural Impact of Psychedelics and aims to be the go-to media outlet. Zach, not unlike myself, started to be involved in the psychedelic industry not that long ago and I like the way he is reporting and reflecting in his newsletter on all that is happening now so fast in the current psychedelic ecosystem. We talk how do to a good newsletter and if and why psychedelic can be political. One day. that’s what Zach and I agreed on, we will run a mantel wellness morning show.
Join me at the Online Psytech Conference on May 26th! Christian Angermayer and I talk Psychedelics and the New Normal.
And yes, we arranged Donick Cary, director of the new psychedelic Netflix Documentary "Have A Good Trip" to be on next weeks show.
Donick is an Emmy-winning writer and producer having written for Late Night with David Letterman, The Simpsons, Park & Recreation and Silicon Valley! You can watch “Have a Good Trip” from Monday, May 11th on Netflix. We’re also working on an extra Q&A with Donick on top of the podcast. Much more to come.
This week I talk to Zack Haigney, founder of The Trip Report, a newsletter on the Business, Policy and Impact of Psychedelics. The Trip Report monitors the Business, Policy, Regulation, Science and Cultural Impact of Psychedelics and aims to be the go-to media outlet. Zach, not unlike myself, became involved in the psychedelic renaissance only recently, and I love the way he reports and reflects in his newsletter on all that is happening now in the current psychedelic ecosystem.
We discuss if psychedelics can be political or whether they will always be bipartisan, why Andrew Yang is a “breath of fresh air” and why US veterans play an important part in the research progress for psychedelics. We talk about newsletters, about Zach himself and about my favourite fantasy for the future: a mental wellness morning show.
